"scientific" philosophy?

the word science comes from the Latin, scientia, "knowing"

the "scientific" process does not lead to "knowing", it leads to better
guesses

the "scientific" process is as follows:

1) hypothesis (any conjecture including theology, etc.)

2) theory is a testable hypothesis, not necessarily now or when , just
testable

3) a founded theory is one who has observational or experimental findings

NO WHERE does the idea of truth or "knowing" come into play

applies equally to theology

I think the "scientific" community should stop using the words "science"
and "scientific process" and replace it with "PROCESS OF INQUIRY",
because they are misusing the root word "scientia"

the best thing going, just over stated, and not stated properly
according to the process

anyone ought to be introduced to "scientific" philosophy before ANY
"science"
