    Hello,

I am in the process of buying 250 grams of Sodium Selenite.
Could any of you post formula for preparing selenium toner using this?

I searched thr web and found a few formulas that use selenium metal
powder. I decided to buy the sodium salt hoping it would be safer to
    handle.

I have read the MSDS on this salt and I am aware of the toxicity of
this chemical. I will be following all safety procedures.

I would be nice if the preparation has both sulfide (polyfulfide) and
selenium so that in one bath I can get both selenium toning and
    sulfiding.

    Thanks in advance,
    Sreenath

I've some of that waiting attention. Search this NG for, selenite .
Don't skip Dr. Gudzinowicz post. BTW, I can't think of any reason
why sodium could'nt take the place of the ammonium. Rather than
KRST you will have SSST; Sreenath's Slow Selenium Toner.
    Be sure and be up-wind.
How about guilding and sulfiding? Nelson's Gold Toner. I've read
that it can be done at room temperature. Now that I've years of
shopping behind me I'll likely get around to that as well. The
    gold is also awaiting. Dan
