Sennheiser Lavalier Question: Are the Receivers Portable?

I need a wireless lav system and the Sennheiser ew122 seems to meet
both my criteria for quality (ok-to-good) and budget (limited).
However, I'm concerned about the size and portability of the receiver,
as it is described as "rack mountable".

My main usage for the device would be pinned to a subject as they go
about their business. I would be shooting on the run, so to speak.
Therefore, I would need to have the receiver with me as I am shooting.

Is this easily done with the Sennheiser lavalier system? Also, what is
the output of the Sennheiser receiver? I have a dv camera with a mini
mic jack and a beachtek adaptor for xlr input.

No, the receiver is too big. It's a half rack space, plus you have to plug
it in. I believe Samson makes an inexpensive portable system designed to be
mounted on the camera. Get pricing from B&H.
