Rich's picture certainly conveys the weekly concept of motion. I almost
had to take Dramamine to look at it! Fantastic photography. I may prefer
to shoot a more 'tranquil' motion, but Rich certainly gets the prize
    for his shot this week!

The Shoot-In has become very popular and it is great to see all the submitted
work so far. As Lisa's #1 bee-yatch, I have volunteered to post the images to
    the gallery for her.

Now, here's the problem I am having.
When Lisa forwards these e-mails to me, many times the attached file is simply
called "motion.jpg" or something similar. Often times I can't tell the owner
of the file from the forwarded e-mail unless it is in the body of the text.
You can imaging the confusion of having 20-30 files to sort through, all with
the name "motion.jpg" or something similar.

So in the future, please use the following file-naming conventions when sending
    your files: Assignment_FirstName_LastName.jpg

For example, Lisa's entry might be called:
"Motion_Lisa_Horton.jpg" which tells me that it is her entry for the Motion
Assignment. Similarly, her entry for next week will be called
    "Water_Lisa_Horton.jpg"

There are few submissions made for this week's assignment that I have posted
with the artist unknown. If one of them is yours then please e-mail me so I
    can properly label it.

    You can find them here:

    Thanks for your kind support.

  3. Thanks Annika for taking on this task, and executing it so well.

Thanks the hint Bruce. I already sent my motion entry to Lisa, but the
file name is just my name. I guess I wasn't thinking beyond my first
    submission.

    Ahhh Huh!
Now we know why Annika is so confident of winning!
    Just joking.

Bruce? Nah. Brett. Or, as he would have been known a few hundred years ago,
    Brett, First Bee-Yatch of Horton.

He is doing a good job, though, with both the site and the pix. Nice polo
    shot!

Arrgh! <blush> <blush>. That is what happens when I read the newsgroup
and watch a Bruce Lee movie on the tele. :-(

    Sorry Brett.

Please note that I am not responsible for any whining committed by my
    Bee-Yatch :)

Bret, you could just have them make the file name their name, and the
subject line the shoot in subject. Then you could extract the photos to
a folder for each shoot out.

    Or your way:)

    Geez.
I thought I was going to get flamed for being too lazy to get out of
    the car.
Been driving that road for a long time... been meaning to take that
    picture for a long time.
Shoot_in was the inspiration to get me out in the rain at 7am this
    morning :))

Thanks Lisa and all involved that helped create this motivating
    affair.
(note left handed compliment to Douglas)

Some great shots posted this week!!

There is no "Winner" since it really isn't a competition per se, but I'm sure
if it were I would be crowned the "Champion Photographer of 2003" after it was
    all over with.

Having said that, my Blue Ribbon for this week's entries might just go to Rich
    Pos.
And it takes a pretty friggin good pic to get my damn vote!

Btw, here's one I took today that might've qualified:
