I want to buy a 500 mm lens for my Pentax K10D.
I seek a affrodable lens with the best quality at the 500 mm range
    The choices are:

Sigma 50-500 mm F/4-6.3 EX DG APO Pentax AF
Sigma 150-500 mm F/5.6-6.3 OS APO Pentax

What is better a DG or a OS ens ?

Simple question - does you camera body have built-in image
    stabilisation?

If it is built-in to the body then get the 50-500.

If it is not built-in then get the 150-500 as - IMSMC - the OS in
the title indicates optical stabilisation in the lens.

You don't want it in both as they may interact and you get very
    strange effects.

All very interesting. However, we have two replies that concentrate
only on the focusing and anti-shake technology of these two Sigma
    lenses.

Absolutely nothing was said about the optical quality, which was the
    original poster's question. He said:

"I seek a affordable lens with the best quality at the 500 mm range."

So which lens offers the best quality at 500mm?
