    Test the camera, it's pretty easy. Turn on the preview screen pick up an IR
    source like a TV remote control, point the remote at the digicam, push some
    buttons on the remote. If you see the IR diode flash on the remote your
    digicam should work in IR

  4. Well, I have read some can and some can't (something about an IR filter
    over the mirror) so I wanted to know. I know I just purchased a 52mm
    adapter to use all screw on lenses and filters in the 52mm department
    but as far as the camera being able to handle IR/NIR I have no idea.

  5. Email sent, email received, 404 error on several links they sent, email
    sent back with the "Escalate to Technical Support" option selected and I
    now await their response about this.
