    All,

Write to enquire as to an appropriate slide film to use for low-light
photography for an outdoor Blues 'n' Jazz festival.

The pictures will be primarily taken face onto the stage with the
performers, therefore, backlit by the stage lights.

Some of the festival will occur during the daytime, but much will
occur in the evening and nighttime after sun-down.

Have other photographers here undertaken this kind of photography
afterdark. If so, can you suggest an appropriate (probably fast)
slide film for use under these circumstances.

    Thanks for your help.

The only really fast slide film available is Ektachrome 1600P, and
that's really an ISO-400 film that's been "optimized" for 2-stop push
    processing.

If you really want fast without special processing, and if you're not
wed to slide film, try Fujipress 1600.
