    Hi,

I've read somewhere that you can adjust the "speed" of the video in Vegas to
produce slowmotion based on a curve ?

So that way you can slow down the video with a smooth deceleration and then
speed it up again. It this true ?

I'm using Media Studio Pro and the only thing you can do it change the speed
using a % but it will "jump" to that speed without a smooth speed
    transition.

If it is true, then what is the quality of the output footoge ? How does it
    do againt interlace footage ?

    Many thanks!

  2. I've read somewhere that you can adjust the "speed" of the video in Vegas to
Yes, called Velocity Envelopes. Works on Video only and adjust from -100% to
+300%. Output is fairly clean and very smooth.

There have been a couple of recent posts relating to the Vegas velocity
    envelope.

Sep 11, 2003 slow motion problem in Vegas (12 articles)

Sep 6, 2003 Flip video clip? (3 articles)

I'm sure there are similar tools in other editors, but Vegas does do a
    pretty good job of it.
