What I hate about these car gatherings is the backgrounds.

Rewards closeups though - surprised you didn't post any.

What I hate, is when they pack the cars in side-by-side so that decent
    shots are impossible.
Oh! You mean this sort of thing?

That's the spirit. I like the last one most.

    Simple.

Open the dropbox.com web site, not your Dropbox folder.
Click on "links" on the left side.
Navigate to the folder you want a link for and open it. In this case I
am leading you to the "Paso Cars 2013" folder.
When that is open click on the blue "Share" button on the upper right.
This will open a dialog window which will give you the option to email
the link or "Get Link" to copy it to your clipboard. Click on the "Get
Link" in the lower right of the dialog window.
Now the link is copied to your clipboard so you can paste it into a
post as I did in this case.

    Have fun.

BTW; You can add additional image files to that folder and it will
open with the same link. I have added the closeups to that folder.

That's a Dropbox folder, and the Duck will explain how to do it. Just
make sure you understand that each image will open to full size if you
click on one. Just arrow through the rest.

    Yup!
They don't spell that out. If you try to get a link via the desktop
Dropbox folder by using the "right click" pop-up menu, you can only get
a "public link" for individual files, or the folder "sharing" dialog.
The thing to understand is that "folder sharing" in that context is for
collaborative sharing between two or more Dropbox users, not for
creating a "public link" for that particular folder.

The other benefit to getting the "public link" for files via the web
site is, you have the option to get a shortened link, which you can't
get from the desktop folder route. Perhaps they will add that with an
    update.

Dropbox is not without bugs. For some reason, folders open at the #2
image instead of the #1. I've had people say a particular photo is
missing because it was #1 in the series, and they arrowed forward from
    #2 and missed #1.

Peter's folder opened at #2 of 4, and I had to go back to get #1

    Thanks.
Both you and I know that some of those images will become abstracts. :)
I still have several hundred to go through. Most will be discarded.

    Thanks.
    I used my 70-200, with a 1.7 extender.
The high megapixels let me do some severe cropping, plus I had use of a
    golf cart.

When I opened the Duck's link, I saw all images in the folder. I opened
my link, and saw all four images. I have to send all the halfway decent
    images to my host.

Some of those are neat images. I particularly like 19 & 21, where the
pony's legs are all in the air. Good action shots. With a little PS work
either could be a good competition shot in your CC. # 30 would be a nice
action shot if you crop out the right two thirds.
