Does anyone use this lens?? I've tried every possible way, and I still
get blurry pics! So I keep on deleting and deleting!

Would the 75-300mm be any better?? There are times when the kit lens
seem to take a half-way decent photo, but not when viewed at a 100%!

I use to love Manual, but on this camera, I mainly use Aperture F5.6 or
F8 at ISO 200. Some saying its sweet spot being F8.

I'm ready to go back to my Canon DSLR, since the kit lens (18-55mm) is
    lots better then the Sony's.

While it is possible that you have a defective lens or autofocus module it
    seems unlikely.
Have you compared auto-focus and manual focus?
Are you shooting raw or jpeg?
If raw the images will have minimal sharpening on opening.
If Jpeg you can adjust the in-camera destruction of your images by choosing
    different jpeg settings.

If the lens if poor then RAW or COOKED won't make much or any difference.
About sharpen, Photoshop and most if not all photo editor has one or more
    sharpen option.
