Any suggestions(apart from the obvious one) please. I have got an 8mm Sony
digi DCR-TRV730E, worked fine when using Adobe, MGI VideowaveIII, Ulead etc
etc, when I was using 98SE.
I was talked(nagged) into upgrading the operating system to XP and the
inevitable happened. Lost the use of many peripherals including the the
Digicam, XP refuses to allow the dirvers etc to load. Finally after 3 hours
of searching , I found an obscure microshite report stating that there is a
known fault with a large number of Sony camcorders. Apparently due to the
fact that when you turn the unit off then on, the system resets itself, and
of course like the control freak owner of said XP software the operating
system likes to be in total control.
All said and done, does any-one know of a way around this one? or will I
have to go back to an older operating system? I have tried the driver guide
but cannot find anything specific for the type of hardware that I have.
    Any thoughts any-one??

    TIA
