Sony rumor: triple CCD camera with prism beam splitter (a-mount,1.5x crop)

    But it has nothing to do with "editors" and even less to do with their
    beliefs where "most" photography is concerned.

    Most photography is seen in magazines, newspapers, websites and small
    prints. 6 Mpix blows those requirements away 9 times out of 10.

    Nat Geo Japan edition did an entire article on London with the
    photographer using a P&S (about 2002 or so). What matters? The
    equipment or the photographer?

    Newsies were using high end Nikon's in 2000 - 2002 with a mere 2.6 Mpix
    for their assignments - and would use those cameras for the next 2 -3
    years after they got them. Much more than needed resolution for
    news/magazine print - even after cropping / or full size mag spreads
    from 1 shot.
