A few people have posted this problem, but I can't find a solution....

I have a Sony TRV140 connected to an older PC ( Win 98SE ) through
    USB.
Pixela / Imagemixer doesn't capture the audio when it captures the
    video.
I have tried changing my device settings for Multimedia.
I have also tried changing the preferences inside Imagemixer.
What is odd, if I switch to "Sound Recording Mode" on the software, it
    will then capture the audio.

Can anyone help me resolve this ?

    Thanks for you assistance.

  2. Hello,

may be I am totally off the way but I had similar experience a couple of
years ago (with other camcorder and other sw but it does not matter...).
I found a checked check mark "No sound" within capture options.
    I lost about a day :-(

    In the Capture environment:
Click wrench symbol upper righthand corner.
USB Capture Device Setting (right side of settings window): make sure
the red check mark is unchecked for using DV cam. This took me awhile
to figure out why I had video with no sound. It doesn't make sense but
it worked. I was using a Sony DV Handycam so I was using the USB
streaming video. Hope this helps. The help menu lacks a sufficient
Troubleshooting guide & the book was cumbersome in that it only showed
how it was supposed to work not what to do if you had problems.
