    Hi,

I have a Panasonic NV-MX7a DV video cam and have just got it back from
pro cleaning and have noticed there are a few sound drop outs fo a mini
sec every now and then. It seems to be when the input noise is high.

Do these cams or ones like them have an auto limiter and can it be
turned off or the input sound when videoing turned down?

Can't seem to find anythimng about sound 'in' in the manual.

It could be the tape but it seems to be when the input is loud, like
    near a music speaker

    Thanks
