    Hi,
I am a beginner looking to get a new digital camera (~$1300).
What should I be looking at, feature wise, in a new digial camera
if I wanted to be able to be able to take night/low light photos?
Ideally it would be 4MP+ and also have a good zoom (35-200+). Any
tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

    Luke.

The canon g3 takes great night photos. the way its lens flares light makes
its pictures more appealing than say a nikon 5700, which while probably more
proficient generally, jsut doesnt have the same competency at night. youre
looking at a canon 300D above the G3 for digital night quality, imho. feel
    free to correct me.
