Hey guys, I just started shooting photos with my new digital camera.
It's only 3.2 megapixels, but its getting me started and interested in
photography. I have a small gallery online of some of my work and I
would be grateful if you guys wouldn't mind taking a look at some
photos and giving me some good feedback on them. I would greatly
    appreciate it.

You are considerably better than the average rank beginner. You have a good
eye for composition and color, and a good imagination.

That's pretty good material, especially considering the kind of camera
you must be using. It seems like you're finding creative ways to
overcome its limitations and produce some compelling images. Some
people seem to think you need the highest quality equipment to do good
photography, but guys like you prove that credo wrong.

"Reach" is a very nice picture. "Laundry" is...odd. ;) You have
several good abstracts in there - I really liked "Snowy Night" and
"Stable". "North" is a pretty terrific landscape. My feedback right
now: keep shooting! You're headed in the right direction. :)

Stop whatever you are doing and turn pro. You have a *wonderful* eye -
a true gift - for form, pattern and composition!! You studied art?

Some creative shots in there, some shots remind me of Ernst Haas' colour

a mixed bunch. I suggest you be your own hardest critic and only put
your very best work up. I'm guilty of the same thing often putting
photos on my site that I'm not totally happy with that shouldn't be
there <> You do have some really good
stuff there though and as others have said you have a good eye but don't
believe too much hype about how great you are because photography is a
craft easily learnt but never mastered and you should be trying
different things finding what works for you. Try bracketing and watch
your scenes don't exceed the DR of your camera, a lot of the dark areas
have lost all detail in some of your shots. Also I though some of the
shots were not very sharp. Are you sharpening "in camera" or sharpening
after on your computer? I don't do any sharpening until the end when I
do it with a PS plug-in called "Focal Blade" which works very well
