    ?sw can rotate 3-4 on-screen frames (akin to carousel-ing w/o overlap)?

    I'm looking to put a bit of a literal spin on my plain-jane work, by cycling 3-4 video frames (akin to carousel-ing w/o overlap),
    rotating in new topics in as I mention them.

    What video editing sw(s) would handle this?
    Linux,Win & Mac are all open options..
    I'm making an informal video for

    www.SciBusUSA.com
    a fleet of traveling science incubators to get schools pointed upon a better path, by getting kids engaged into FIRST (& other science competitions) & drag corporate support (esp by supplying mentors) & empowering parents into their kids' school lives.

    Any pointers in the right direction are highly appreciated!
    Thanks kindly,
    Brian

    If I understand what you're asking, 3D Track Motion in Vegas should be able to do this.

  3. Let's start by showing a carousel w/ multiple movng videos in it;

    This above examble is WAY past what's needed;
    Just 3-4 videos moving clockwise in 2d;
    no 3-d effects, not going behind one another,
    just a plain set of videos going clockwise in 2d.

    Hmm... Mike, thanks for the suggestion, but
    so far for Vegas motion
    the best YT url I've seen
    is still shots,w/ the primary video changing.
    I'm looking for 3-4 videos in motion ie

    So, unless someone has seen it
    able to plug in multiple videos instead of stills...

    Thanks much!

    The second video looks like a lot of Parent Motion in Vegas which I have very little experience with.
    Take a look at the following tutorial and see if it helps at all. Unfortunately the project file and associated material is no longer available but ifyou emailed the author (I've met John and he's a very nice guy), he might still have them and be able to send it to you.

  5. Mike,
    thank you!
    John's write up looks very promising...

    Makes you wonder what the Amiga Toaster could be doing in C= hadn't screwed up the co....
    Time to follow your lead
    while keeping my nose sniffing for more promising scents (not likely!) =)

    Brian, if you have After Effects, I know that it can do what you want.
    The other tool that comes to mind is Scattershot 3D from VASST. It's $129 U.S. but it has a lot of very useful features for Vegas users.
