Can anyone help me with a lead for a retailer in Sydney or surrounds
with stock of the 300Ds at good prices?

    Cheers,

Latest camera house catalogue has them for $1850. Not sure if they have
them in stock, but even if they don't you can use this as a price-match
elsewhere (for places who won't match online/etc prices).

Will this price drop apply to the 10D and D100 as well?

I noticed that Myer Melbourne (Mega Mart actually) is selling the 300d
for $1795 in the post xmas sales. They were selling the same unit for
    $1999 christmas eve. Go figure.
