Sydney lens rental

Discussion in 'Australia Photography' started by Vukasin Vujasinovic, Feb 3, 2004.

  1. Hey,

    I want to rent a 70-200 or 100-300 (any quality xx/x - 300/400 telephoto
zoom) Canon mount zoom of constant aperture (f/4 will do) for 1 or 2 days in
    the next week or two.

Can anyone recommend a place in Sydney? I've searched it but been unable to
find any place that offers this service.

    Regards,

    Vuki

BUy a used one. Then sell it. The money you lose is the rental fee. Might
    even be a profit.

Have used them before, absolutely no problems.

70-200mm f/2.8 will put you back about $120 for the weekend.

    Hi Vuki,

I've done this with L&P Photographics in Artarmon and had no issues. I
hired a D1X, 80-200 so have only had Nikon experience but they're worth
    calling too.

    Good luck,
    Cheers,
    Dave

Even rarer still are chickens with cameras. Ever been to China ? Racks and
    racks of L lenses.
