    Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a 2x or higher telephoto lens which will
fit the Samsung VP-D10 camcorder ?

    Thanks

    Nick

Try searching on Ebay for your lens filter size. This should be engraved
on the front of your camcorder lens.

    Tony,

Thanks for the pointer. According to the manual, it is 37mm.

I have had a quick look around and the KENKO KUT-300HI seems to be a
good (and cheap) fit to my requirements.

Do you (does anyone else) have an opinion on this product ?

    Regards

    Nick

The cheaper Tele and WA lens attachments sold in this country don't seem
to be of very good quality. I bought (on Ebay) from a US seller a 37mm
2X lens attachment that's labelled "Professional High Quality" and is
made in Japan. It cost me about £30. The results seem (to me) to be very
    good.

    Tony,

OK, thanks for that - I'll go and have a look at ebay.com.

I think I have the same set lying around here somewhere, unused. Is it the
one that came with five adapter rings for different lenses?

No. The model(s) I'm referring to are available in the more common lens
    filter thread diameters.
