    Hi Guys,

Getting telephoto zoom lens for F3HP, looking at new 80-200 F2.8 AF ED quite
expensive, perfect reviews, or 80-200 F4 AIS much cheaper, but haven't seen
    any reviews.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for your help,

    Martin

My 80-200 f2.8 AFS lens is a bit overwhelming on my F3HP. It's a bit
more manageable with the MD4 attached. However it's a wonderful lens,
just a bit awkward for me to control without the extended grip of the
    MD4.

    Regards,
    Roger

The 70-200mm f/2.8 VR AF-S is a big improvement on the 80-200mm, but you
won't be able to take advantage of the VR on a F3HP. Oh yes, it's a G
lens, so I guess you would be screwed. Sorry.

In this case, unless you are planning to upgrade your body to an
auto-focus one, try and find a manual focus lens.
