The Formidable 500 Makes Public Mockery Out Of A Canon Shooter!!

I think it's more the composition, with the eyes near the top edge and
the feet in the center, that make the feet the focal point.

  2. The old Formidable 500 and 2X TC was out in public enjoying the beautiful
weather minding their own business when a Canon shooter tried to mock and
ridicule this sweet combination. Of course the Formidable 500 held its
ground while the Canon shooter backed down is total disgust and shame. God,
    I love this lens!!!

Much nicer bokeh! One could almost be forgiven for thinking that you
are trying to trick us with a pic from your old Canon 500. ;-)

A serious critique.... I would like to see a little more sharpness on
the face, as the foot seems the sharpest part of the image and it
keeps drawing my attention. Perhaps a just a little more DOF would
    have pulled it in.

Can't you just post your photos without all the Nikon vs. Canon trolling?

  5. I thought you were out falling down in the mud with your D3/500.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing
good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good
people to do evil things, that takes religion.

  7. Thank you.
I agree. I took three shots of him and it does seem like it might be a
slight front focus issue when using the TC. I'm just guessing. I probably
should have stopped the lens down a few notches, but I was shooting handheld
and wanted to keep the shutter speed up. I've got a little more cropping
room on the original so I might be able to get a slightly better composition
to make a compromise for the slightly OOF face. I'm going to knock the blue
back slightly. It was a beautiful bright and sunny day with a blue sky, but
it might be too much for this shot.

  9. I'm just trying to add a little suspense and drama to an otherwise bland and
boring group. Personally, I like both brands.

At least Rita post a photo from time to time. We have far too many
people on this group who are willing to tell us all how great they are
and how good their photos are, but never seem to manage to post a
    decent photo.

Sorry to break it to you kiddo, but you're failing miserably. All
you're really accomplishing is coming off as a boorish twat.

  12. Cool! That's one big sparrow! I'd hate to see the size of the chickens in
    your part of the world.

It adds neither. Try adding humility.
