Theft prevention in public place

    I recently made that move. I have the new eyefi class 10 card and an
    ipad mini.
    The mini is much easier to carry around in a camera bag than the
    normal ipad. Although you give up a little resolution compared to the
    ipad, especially the retina version, the mini is plenty good enough to
    check focus. You don't need to leave it turned on, either. When you
    go to view the pictures, shuttersnitch will catch up automatically.
    It is really quite cool.

    Some locks have an alarm that will sound if the cable is cut. That
    may help, but only if you are a faster runner than the thief. Best
    advice is to keep everything with you, or within easy reach.

    I find it hard to imagine photography that requires use of a laptop, in a
    busy shop, that doesn't involve the management. Prior arrangement would be
    essential.
