As per earlier thread, have purchased INCA batteries and charger. Have a
pre wedding shoot to do at 6 pm today. Will be trying out a 550, 420 and
580 flashes with and without brollies. Have charged up the batteries today
from new. Anticipate some two to three hundred shots with at least 1/2 with
some form of lighting. This should really test out the mh batteries.
    Report to come.

    regards

New batteries needs to break first before they are in their max performance.
Expect sudden drop halfway on the event [do prepare some e2 Li batts in your
    pocket :) ]

They are probably similar to my Sigma 500 DG Super and the book says around
300 from alkalines and 200 from the NiMh's but the NiMh's will have a faster
    cycle time.

the batteries will not get fully charged on the first time, so I should
think they may come better after a few recharges.

Like to know your results anyway.

Unfortunately the light was great yesterday arvo here and only had to use a
bit of fill flash (and a reflector). This was mainly accomplished with the
580 on the body. Results were good in that the flash cycled well even
though not much demanded of it. Seems to be a better bet than my normal
    energisers etc.
