Hello! I'm new to photography and just received a used Minolta SRT-101. Everything camera wise seems to work well from the shutter speed and all. The only con was it came with no lens. While I was at a thrift store I just happened to find a MC lens for 99 cents (Student discounts rock!). It is a Starblitz MC lens Zoom/C-Macro 80-200mm Model number #110828 As soon as I got home I tried to attach it and could not seem to get it to do so. Holding the lens and the camera I could zoom and everything but obviously that would not be a good idea when taking actual photos. So my question is that is this lens compatible with my S camera5.jpg RT 101? In addition, am I just doing something wrong or do I need something for this lens to mount onto the camera? I don't have any other lenes yet. Any help is much appreciated as I am eager to learn photography and use this camera. Thank you!
