I have Brother Bear in 2 800Mb SVCD mpg files, they are in SVCD firmat, and
I have written them to SVCD

I thought I wouyld try and encode, or write them to DVD Video, knowing that
they arent the correct format. TMPGEnc refused to allow this, and gave the
paramaters that fall outsode of compliance
Ulead MF3 Trial did allow these 2 files to be authored, and the preview of
the DVD played fine, so will author it tomorrow, but going by the preview it
    will be fine

    Why is this?

Is it due to MF3 re-encoding?

What are you talking about? TMPGenc can take MPEGs just fine! I'm
re-encoding one with TMPGenc right now.

    Is this MPEG-1 or MPEG-2?
I thought TMPGEnc cannot read in MPEG-2.
