Used Camera help (again, again)

Discussion in '35mm Cameras' started by Paw H. Jensen, Sep 16, 2003.

  1. Hi again

After all your feedback I am a little concerned about the eos 10 so I have
    made a little more research.

So now I have two cameras on the hand to the same price (170 $):

EOS 10 incl. EF 35-105 lens and EF 70-210 f4 macro lens.

    or

    EOS 50 incl. 35-80 lens.

    pro and contras ??

    Best regards

The '10 is a better spec'd camera than the '50 (the lower the number the
    higher the specs)

What concerns you about the '10?

  3. Uhhhhhheerrruummmmm, kinda. It really applies more to the lines of
cameras introduced about the same time. The EOS 50 (Elan II) could be
considered a cross between the 10 and the 100 (Elan), and was released much
    later than the 10.

If you've ever used the quick-control dial on the back of the 50,
you'd never consider another camera without it ;-).

http://photonotes.org/reviews/eos-10s/ gives a lot of useful info,
but it takes some picking through.
