Usenet should block anonymous remailers.

I am beginning to think that anonymous remailers should be blocked from
usaenet news servers. They seem to be a source of cowardly and
objectionable posts, their abuse address never gets any results, and
they are a major source of cowardly attacks on individuals.

this is a response to one of many threads cross posted to several
groups. they were all of little use and questionable taste and value.

perhaps, to preserve their right to express themselves
in their cowardly and irresponsible way,
there should be a new newsgroup, perhaps

    cowardly.anonymous.punks

    would be appropriate.

Believe it or not, a lot of this flame bait comes from our own
government and corporations who have a vested interest in
seeing anonymity destroyed on Usenet. At least the trolls
here don't change their nyms too often so blocking them is
    relatively pain-free.

    He expressed a legitimate concern.
What the heck is your problem with that?

I think the use of "Pizza boy" is simply a play on the name Pizzi...because
    of it's similarity to "Pizza."
I wouldn't consider this an ethnic slur.
It still could be considered rude, but not necessarily ethnic.

actually paulo, or whatever your real name is,
your understanding, your inference, and your conclusion,
are all totally incorrect and unfounded.

    if you were smarter,
    you would have understood
that 'the club' is the result of my posting,
    not the other way around.

    comprehension paulo, comprehension.

    mark, check the original thread.

Unless you know some black person whose name resembles the word
"watermelon", then you've missed the point entirely.
And...By the way...you just spouted your own racial slur...just not at me.
    No. You are confused.

I don't mean to put down your use of English--your English is quite
good--byou seem to miss many of the subtleties of the language...at least in
written form. You have repeatedly misidentified "name-calling" where there
was none. -Like when I said "bub" to you. You thought that was
    name-calling.
I think you need to give people more slack, given your propensity to
    misidentify the meaning of words.

I feel quite sure that there is no racial slur in the following true
    statement:
"Paolo Pizzi is not the sharpest tool in the shed."
Now look, Pizzi... There was nothing racial or ethnic in that.
It was a simple, politically correct insult.

    Paolo,
I am curious to know what your first language is.
Your English is good, but you miss the subtle meanings with regularity.

  16. What would really be appropriate is for you, Scott Gilbert, Vivian Asswarrior
Eshwar, Wollman and Bartmo to have a gigantic circle jerk.

Oh dear... You're proving my point, Paolo.
Here's the Webster's New World Dictionary entry for "bub":
    ¤bub (bub)

    n.

[Slang] brother; boy; buddy: used in direct address

    Etymology

    [< Ger bube, boy]

    ©1995 Zane Publishing, Inc. ©1994, 1991, 1988 Simon & Schuster, Inc.

    That's interesting.
    -Based upon what?

except you miss much of the meaning,
as is demonstrated by so many here.
bub is a perfectly good english word.
    you really should take ESL.

paulo loses control, and goes over the edge!

when english and its use really loses you,
    you start calling people names.
