Using green screen on Mac?

Discussion in 'Amateur Video Production' started by Healthy Stealthy ;, Sep 21, 2003.

  1. Hello group,

Can I use green screen technology on a Mac G4? What software should I
use? Any suggestion on a camera? Can anyone provide any tutorials on
    how to do this?

    Thank you all.

Final Cut Pro? iMovie with the right plugins? Adobe Premiere?

What sort of work are you trying to do?

  3. Get a copy of Erica Sadun's "iMovie 3 Solutions" (published by Sybex).
It includes a CD-ROM with a bunch of free plugins, including one that
provides a chroma-key (see-through color) effect. The book describes how
    to use it.

For anyone that wants to push the iMovie envelope, this is a great book
to have. It also includes techniques for using QuickTime Pro to do
    multiple video channels, etc.
