After I have audio and video on timelines in Vegas, how do I only save
the stereo audio tracks to a new, separate 320kbps mp3 file? I
presume it needs to be rendered into the desired format and then
saved, but I have only seen a max of 56kbps as a selection.

And then I have some tracks that are already 320kbps mp3 but I am not
seeing how to just select the audio tracks and save them to mp3 file.

There's either something wrong with your system or you're not lookng in the
right places. When I select MP3, the "Template" window gives me several
options ranging from 64Kbps to 320Kbps. If I select "Custom, there's even
    more.
Did you register your MP3 plugin?

When you select MP3 as a render option, it'll only render out your audio
    tracks.

And, additionally, if you just want to render one of several audio
tracks, you can "Solo" That track.
