Hi, just bought my first roll of the velvia 100 but hadnt taken anything
    yet..

Im just looking for some feedback on others experiance,
shortcomings/advantages with the film so far.
Also it would help in you listing what you have used it for primarly

    Thanks,

  2. I would suggest you to go out and shot and you will see yourself
how you like it. Afterall it's not something so expensive you need
to think carefully for every single photo you take. Go out test it
develope it and see yourself. Some people like, some don't. Personally
I was somehow dissapointed with it. I guess I was expecting real
Velvia just with ISO 100, and I guess most of people did.
But this is not about what someone else likes or not, but what >YOU<
like. And only way to see that is to go out test it and see if you
like it better then old Velvia or Provia 100F, and then decide if
you want another few rolls of it or not.

I was hoping for Velvia's intense colours but at a 100ASA...it's not.
Its an OK film, but it is NOT Velvia no matter what they put on the
    label hehe.
