I know it was 100s times already, so there you go again:)

Just got new comp with 1394, (better later than not at all:)
    It comes with two programs:
    1. WinDVD Creator
    2. Windows Movie Maker.
I'm just starting to use those progs so I have some questions.
Which one you think is better? Maybe to buy something else?
Is possible to create VCD disk with chapters using one of this progs.
Now, when I was coping from my camcorder, 8MM tape to VHS I could click any
time on remote date button, so date and time copied to VHS tape. I still
don't know how it is possible coping from 8MM to HD.
    thanks

  2. Movie maker is 'nice to have' but only produces windows media format
videos afaik (though you can record back to DV cam if its available on
    your camera).

So there's no facility to create Video CDs from the content, because
movie maker can't output in MPEG format - which would be required to
view the CD on home DVD players.
