I am looking for the best video editor at a low price. Currently I am using
Pinnacle Studio 8 and considering their new Studio 9. I've purchased their
"Instant Video Album" which is almost impossible. I don't want to spend any
    more money on junk.

    Glutton for punishment, eh?

I'm not sure if it will go along with "low price", but Vegas is a great
video editing package. (Generally you get what you pay for)

  3. Ulead Video Studio is nice.

I have the bundle that came with my Pioneer A06U ($130 on sale)
and it has Video Studio 7 SE, DVD Movie Factory 2 SE, DVD Picture
Show 2 SE and Nero burner.

I use VS7 to edit then from the SHARE menu choose to make an
MPEG-2 file that is DVD ready. Then I open DVD Movie Factory 2,
add the video, make DVD menus, tell the program NOT to reprocess
compliant vid files and then write it to the hard drive as a
VIDEO_TS folder. Then I use Nero (in my case patched to, which supports my drive just great) to burn the
VIDEO_TS folder to a DVD Video disk from the templates. Works
    fantastic in almost all cases.

    Hope that helps.

BTW, I tried Pinnacle Studio 8 for months - too many crashes and
too many bugs made it so unproductive. Ulead may not be as
flexible and may not have as good of a user interface, but it
flat out works, and that matters most to me.
