Viewfinder washout

  1. Despite the proliferation of restricted groups in r.p.digital, I
see that the original is still the most active.

I wonder if there are experiences and opinions that might
indicate the best small camera for outdoor use? The first
criterion, IMHO, is that the monitor screen should be adequately
visible in bright ambient light. This has become important to me
    as
small cameras now tend to be made without an optical viewfinder.
I was unpleasantly surprised some years ago when I discovered
how easy it was washout the monitor for my Nikon 3200.
