Vignetting is severe with both the T4 and T4 Super (T5).
It vignettes, it distorts, it is unsharp.

What do you expect at that price point?

You may have simply gotten a camera with a bad lens. I have two of the
T4's and have never noticed any vignetting..

You should have taken the one you had back for replacement. You clearly got
a defective camera. The lenses on the two that I have show no signs of the problems
    you have.

: What do you expect at that price point?

A lot less then what I got with the T4.

Then it is clear that you have very low standards.

You accidently removed the context of the comments that I was making so I've taken
the liberty of putting it back in.

Everytime I use 35mm I'm significantly lowering my standards and reduce it even
more when I use a P&S. When I want quility I use my LF camera and when that isn't
suitable I use one of my MF cameras.

None of that has anything to do with the fact that you got a defective camera. Of
the two T4's that I have I never noticed any vingetting, noticable distortion or
unsharpness. I've also found the metering to accurate enough for the conditions that
    I would use a P&S for.

You are obviously being blinded by the light reflecting off the
    letters

    "C A R L Z E I S S"

Not at all. I might however become blinded by a P&S with a lens that had the letters

    R O D E N S T O C K

    :)

I couldn't agree more Frank, my T5's just fine. I'll even think about
    getting married to it.
