I'm hoping that one of you might be able to help me locate a model number
for a tripod I have. It's a Vivitar tripod that was made in the early 1980's
when Vivitar was a REAL photographic company. It's a compact tripod that's
only 10" in length when folded, but when the legs were extended it would
reach a whopping 54"! Yes, that's 4'5". Unfortunately one of the legs has
gone kaput and I'm afraid that it'll be on its way to tripod heaven.

The only numbers I have on the silver info area are "??2-25" and "No. 0031".
I remember seeing it in Modern Photography under Kepler's View. It has
served me well and unfortunately there's nothing available today that can
even touch the compactness and the versatility of this tripod.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
