  2. I own the 125mm macro. Results have been mostly excellent
so far. Wide open it lacks some contrast, so the 2.5
starting aperture does not make it a reportage-type
lens (though you can certainly use it in a pinch).
Stopped down to 4-5.6, contrast is very good. I
did not notice any difference to various Nikkors
(2.5/105, etc) in real shots (both infinty and macro).

Curiously, a resolution test pattern did show a noticeable
lower resolution that the Nikkors, but that might have
been an error of mine. Have to recheck that some time.

    Some other things:

+ Appears to be very well built and solid.
+ Color seems to match Nikkors.
    + Rounded, 9-bladed aperture.
+ Focuses in the 'right' direction - in contrast to other third-party lenses.
    + F2.5 and 125mm is a nice combination.
+ very solid metal lens hood.

    - 58mm filter thread requires an step-up ring to use 62mm filters.
    - Almost no way to grip the lens for mounting and unmounting - Nikon lenses have
exposed barrel between focusing and aperture rings.
    - silver filter thread might cause reflection in subject.
    - No tripod mount.
    - No DOF scale.
