Want to view a Kodak CX7430 video from DVD player

I just bought a Kodak CX7430 a couple days ago. I've noticed that the
videos are stored as Quicktime .mov files. What I would like to do is
convert this file into a format that will allow me to create a VCD or
    DVD with it.

I've tried Rad Video Tools but I only manage to get audio and
sometimes a couple frames a video. This may be due to the MPEG-4
compression used by the CX7430 (just a guess).

Does anyone know of freeware or reasonably priced software that can
    help me with this problem?

    Thanks in advance.
