  1. Is there an easy quicker way to disable audio in individual timeline
    clips
without opening the properties box and unchecking A1, A2, A3 etc.

Also is the a way to quickly adjust clip audio volume, rubberbands,
    apply
keyframes, without having to go into audio edit mode?

I am trying to like Edition but seems as if it is basically a renamed
    Fast
NLE from a few years ago(different era in the NLE world) and although
    it
has that background rendering ability, it seems a lot less intuitive
    than
other nle's such as Premiere 5x, 6x, 7x, Media Studio Pro,
    Blade/Speed
    Razor.

I own an DV 500 DVD, DC30, Studio and have used Premiere and
    Edition(own
Edition as well) Speaking of background rendering ability doesn't
Cinelerra also do that and is open source? http://www.lmahd.com
