Does anybody know how to collapse one of these things back down into
the original size? It's the type that has a flat piece of spring-steel
in the liner to keep the shape when it's unfolded.

Unfortunately when I took the screen out of the bag for the first time
and unfolded it, I made the mistake of not paying attention to how it
was folded. Now, I've fiddled and fussed a lot and could use some help
on how to get the thing back into the bag without ruining it. I've
already wrinkled the sheet from trying to fold it without any success.

My Westcott screen is in the back room in my apartment unfolded
because I failed to solve this puzzle.

    Could really use some help.

    Thanks!

twist it into a figure eight, then fold the loops down over each other.

Fold it diagonally from corner to corner (top left to bottom right). This
will give you the two loops that when twisted will collapse the entire
piece. There should be a sheet of paper in the bag that explains this.

It's finally in the bag again. I appreciate the help from all.

Apparently mine never included the instructions or it fell out of the
    bag when I opened it.

    Best wishes!

  5. it is a bear to do the first time. i opened up my 6X7 foot screen in my
living room...had to squeeze it thru the door to get it outside to fold back
up. felt kind of foolish out in the front yard to trying to twist and turn
that thing back into the bag.

i like to give the smaller flex-fills to new producers just out of film
school as an IQ test...many fail ;-)

Even more fun is to pull it out when you're in the elephant house at the zoo
and inform the passersby you're about to install a birth control device in
    one of the elephants....
