I tried to see the different settings of my polarizer filter, with my
    sunglasses on, but I couldn't
What kind of sunglasses allow you to see the changes in the
    polarizer filter settings?

    Sony DSC-f828.

    Thanks!

Do you mean seeing the glare reduction, etc. Well, glare can only be
reduced one, so if you are wearing polarized sunglasses and you are
also reducing glare with a filter, you won't see much of a different
but the camera will. On the other hand, if you orient the polarization
opposite of the shades, then the world will turn dark for you but it
    won't for your camera.

So, what will allow you to see it the effedt would be non-polarized
    ones.

Also, on the LCD, the sunglasses will have little effect.

Using any type of polarised sunglasses is not helpful for this purpose.
And may make it more difficult, not less.
