    IIRC = If I recall correctly
    IMHO = In my humble opinion
    BTW = By the way

    Those are three of the most common ones.

    years in the military....

    Long before there was an internet and/or newsgroups, there was another item
    that used to be seen on subway walls and other places:

    LAMF

    Anyone here old enough to remember that ones meaning?

    I said other places as well, I guess this is long before your time, then again
    this might have been a New York thing.

    Actually one of the things I enjoyed was Fridays at 5 PM on the 14th street
    platform, watching everyone trying to get on what they thought was the last
    train out of town.
    I look back at my five years in the city with a smile. Great food,
    theaters, lots of free music in Central Park, Shafer Music Festival, the
    list is endless. Oh yes the express elevators in the Twin Towers.
