    Hello All:

I am a oodworker/photographer who needs to get pictures of his furnitures intidigital and possibly film format for a portfolio, a web page, and even into slides for juried craft shows.

I have a digital camera and some software and some experience with photo floods and a boom light, but I would like some input on what to get in my own lighting set up.

I plan on 3-4 lights in 3200K about 2000-3000 watts total, with a boom. Prefer softlights to umbrellas if affordable, and a backdrop system.

What I have seen on Ebay and in Catalogs like B&H photo put me in the price range of 1000 to 3000. Quite a range. I do not plan to travel, am a one man shop and won't use it all that often, but I don't want JUNK.

    OPinions and suggestions are welcome.

I can be reached at: sunsetwood "at" earthlink.net

(They won't allow email addreses, but I am sure you can "figure it out")
