A distant relative just sent me a file "ancestors.albm"

Google tells me it has something to do with "HP Photosmart".

Anyone know what program I need to open it, convert the contents to
JPGs, whatever ? And where to get a copy ?

BTW, I have a bunch of the Adobe photo programs and some others.

    TIA, QE

I have "HP Photo Printing Software" which came wtih my printer, and it
supports .albm files. It is available from HP at their website (www.hp.com)
but I don't know if it's free or not.

    Thanks Bill -

After I posted my original request I found related software, free to
download, first in French, then in English on HP's site.
Neither of them was the charm.

Then I lucked out, my sister had given me her old hard drive so I
could recover her Outlook and OE mailboxes and address books
to CDR so she could import into her new PC.

On that hard drive I found "HPI_PRNT.EXE" which did the trick. It
was in a directory where she stores
"RAW" copies of install fines: E:\RAW\hp photosmart\Photo Printing.
    Just like you suggested.

Just clicked on the EXE and was able to see ancient ancestors :).
    PC was running W98SE

This morning, giving it a try on an XP machine, it kept requesting
    files like:

LTWRP10N.DLL and LTKRN10N.DLL etc. These come from Lead
Technologies Inc and can be found with Google and downloaded -
    the site I used is:

    http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?ltwrp10n

which was at the top of Google's hit list.

If anyone needs the EXE send me an email before I forget where I
    stashed it.

    Cheers, QE
