what type of lens case do you use?

    Canon only seems to offer soft lens cases for their new lens. Do you have
    any preferences or comments between hard vs soft lens cases?

    I never put lens in cases, just keep them on the cameras.

    I have one soft case that I keep a Canon FD prime in, but mostly the
    FDs are in a Tamrac bag, and my Nikon gear is in a Lowe Pro bag....
