- What video editor do you recommend for...

  1. Hi,

I've got a WMV file I need to edit down... it's too long, and I need to cut
    some scenes out.

What video editor would you recommend for me to do this? Keep in mind that
there's audio as well, and I don't want to break the sync. I just want to
cut out scenes (both audio and video) and edit a 3 minute movie down to 1

What tool would you recommend for this? It doesn't have to be anything
fancy, I have no intention of making a new career out of this.

I use Quicktime Pro, which is perfect for simple editing. Only thirty
bones; I don't know if an XP version exists. Go to Apple's website and
check it out - some people like it, some don't.

  4. You already have Movie Maker, which can do it easily. It comes with Windows

  6. Windows Movie Maker can edit specific portions of a movie out?

I must not have given it a long enough look. Can you tell me how to do this

  7. Especially not when they specify in their post that they are using Windows
