What would cause the CCD image to start going skewy?

  1. I have a Fuji FinePix S7000. The last time I used it, about a month ago, it was

    When I went to use it yesterday, the CCD image was skewing as soon as I turned
    it on. As far as I know, it hasn't been dropped or incurred any other sort of
    damage (water, etc.).

    Anyone know what would cause this? And can it be fixed?
