What's the use of"change the color of the Navigator palette view box"?

    What's the use of"change the color of the Navigator palette view box"?
    I follow the command of the ps help files and I changed the color of the
    Navigator palette view box,but I found nothing had changed.So I
    wonder,What's the use of"change the color of the Navigator palette view
    box"?
    Please help me,thank you!

    It does precisely what it says. In the Navigator window the view box
    is, by default, a light red. If this color does not dislay well on
    your image -- for example, if your image has a red background -- then
    you can change the view box to a color that contrasts with your image
    for better visibility. The same option is available from within the
    Navagator window by clicking the fly-out menu.
