Where can one give away darkroom equipment as contribution?

  1. I have been trying to sell a Beseler 23 C enlarger with a Dichroic color
head and some other stuff, but so far I haven't had any luck. I can put
it up on ebay, and I'm sure I would get something for it, but I don't
want to have to pack it up for shipment.

Does anyone know of somewhere in the Chicago area which will take it as
a charitable contribution so I can at least claim a tax deduction? I
tried looking at the Columbia College web site, but I wasn't able to
find any office which might consider taking it or referring me to some
    place that would take it.

Well you could state pickup only. Beseler 23 still seem to sell for
    reasonable money.
Do they have a student paper? Photographic club?

  3. There may even be used-camera dealers in Chicago that will pick it up.
