    ::Where is my 300D?!::
I need it for a wedding shoot tomorrow. Ordered it through Croydon
Camera House (VIC). Has anyone else recieved theirs? Hope it comes in
    today! Will be using a EOS 33 (35mm) and a 50E (35mm) but I really
wanted to use the 300D... At least I can see how my images are working
out as I go. This is my first Wedding shoot. Doing it for my cousin.
    Need my 300D:confused:

  2. If you are lucky your 300D will NOT arrive in time now, as taking a new
"untested" "unfamiliar" camera into a wedding would be suicide!!

Just give them a call and ask. I dont know if you're familiar with
the shop, but they're pretty friendly and helpful.

Yeah I know all that... but it is very similar to the Eos 33 that I
know back to front. Besides it will be my backup camera, not my only
    camera... As I did mention!

the 10d is similar to the 33, the 300d is more like , well an eos 300!

Fletchers in Pitt St sydney had 50. They had sold 14 already by the time I
    got there.

It doesn't feel as flimsy and plasticy as I thought it would, and the AF
speed of the 18-55 lens was pretty good. Didn't really get into the picture
    quality side of things though.

Sorry I did not take that as meaning "back-up", I took that as if you had
the 300D you would be using the 300D... my mistake.

    ye gods!

Taking a brand new camera to do a wedding. I really do hope you're
only the backup photographer, because your family wont talk to you if
    you mess this up
